At Our Lady’s Assumption, we have partnered with some exceptional outside agencies to provide our students with a first class holistic education.

Scitech STEM Club

Scitech’s intensive after school STEM Club continues, designed in response to feedback from parents, teachers and students looking for deeper, more comprehensive extracurricular STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) experiences. Students participate in after school STEM activities facilitated by Scitech staff all year round. Places are limited and always fill fast.

Sporting Schools

Sporting Schools is a $240 million Australian Government initiative designed to help schools to increase children’s participation in sport, and to connect them with community sporting opportunities.

Sporting Schools programs are provided free to children and their families to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life.

Each year Our Lady’s Assumption applies to be a part of the program, providing opportunities for our students to experience many before and after school sports on our own school grounds.

Keyed Up Music

Tutors from Keyed Up Music tutor students at school in various instruments. Keyed Up Music is a full teaching member of ASME (Australian Society of Music Educators). All of their teachers are either currently studying music at an Australian University or Conservatorium or have already completed their tertiary musical studies, parents can be assured that their child is receiving the best possible instrumental education.

Bubs Play at OLA – Playgroup WA

Each week our ‘Bubs Play at OLA’ playgroup meets for parents with toddlers to come together to play and have a coffee. The group is affiliated under Playgroup WA and its associated standards. The main purpose of affiliation with Playgroup WA is to support all young children, families and communities to enjoy, learn and grow together through playgroup.
