n Pre-Kindy, we have been learning how to cooperate, take turns and to share with each other. When one of our friends is upset because we have taken their toy, knocked over their building or pushed in front of them, we have a conversation about how their friend is feeling and why they are feeling that way. This helps the children to express themselves and communicate their problems to others, and it makes them become aware of how their actions affect others.
We also talk about noticing how people are feeling, especially if they are sad or angry and what we can do to show compassion and help them.
