Term 1, Week 3

We have had a flying start to the year in 4G! We love being upstairs and we understand all the BIG responsibilities that go with this. We have talked about respect and have built this into our class expectations. We know that respect means being very mindful of ourselves and others. For us this means that we are respectful of our own equipment and of others as well. This looks like: putting things away, taking care of equipment, not using others equipment without permission and having our own equipment.

We were very excited to take delivery of our laptops last week, and we are learning all sorts of things about the responsible and respectful use of equipment like this. We love using our computers and we are focussing on being respectful and learning to become sensible digital citizens as well.

We have also been learning about ‘God’s rules’, we know these as the Ten Commandments. A really important one, which is all about respect is Commandment 5:  Obey your parents. We try hard to do this!
