In Year 6G the students have returned to school and have settled back in very quickly. They have displayed great resilience over the past few weeks and every student rose admirably to the challenges of home schooling. The students displayed excellent integrity by completing the home schooling tasks to the very best of their abilities. On top of this they used the digital platforms very sensibly to seek clarification and understanding.
Since coming back to school, we have been going through lots of work such as learning about 2D and 3D shapes, how to calculate the volume of cubes and rectangular prisms, how to make a persuasive verbal argument, learning the 8 petitions of The Lord’s Prayer and creating a 3D hand art. The students who were home schooling were also able to complete these tasks and stay up to date with the children at school via our digital platforms such as Teams and SeeSaw. The students should feel very proud of the integrity that they have displayed towards their learning during these unprecedented times.
