Welcome to Our Lady’s Assumption School
As the principal of Our Lady’s Assumption School (OLA), I warmly welcome you to our wonderful school. I have been at OLA since 2018 and witnessed a change in culture, teaching pedagogy as well as an increase in student achievements, ensuring we’re catering for the needs of all students, to the best of our ability. ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ and this is the approach we have taken at OLA, a whole school approach to the way we learn, communicate and educate our students.

My goodness they have grown Tiana Versace . Congratulations to all of the students.
Every year we support Wheelchairs for Kids - a volunteer based non-profit organisation that produces wheelchairs for kids in impoverished communities around the world.
Wheels Day is one of our fundraisers and today the kids had a wheelie fun day, zooming around in their wheels 🚲 🛴 🛼
They also had a go at the wheelchairs🧑🏿🦽produced by Wheelchairs for Kids.
If you’ve ever noticed our teachers wearing jeans on a Friday, it’s because they’re also donating to this worthy cause! And throughout the year we encourage students to collect ring pulls, which are then donated to the charity to help make more wheelchairs (keep collecting over the school holidays 😉).
Thank you for your support 🙏🏻
