Welcome to Our Lady’s Assumption School
As the principal of Our Lady’s Assumption School (OLA), I warmly welcome you to our wonderful school. I have been at OLA since 2018 and witnessed a change in culture, teaching pedagogy as well as an increase in student achievements, ensuring we’re catering for the needs of all students, to the best of our ability. ‘It takes a village to raise a child’ and this is the approach we have taken at OLA, a whole school approach to the way we learn, communicate and educate our students.

What better way to spend the afternoon than with your buddies 𖠋♡𖠋
This term in Design Technology, the Year 3s have been working hard designing a new line of lego for their PP buddies. They created the packaging design as well as precise building instructions.
Then they put their designs to the test, spending a fun and educational afternoon with their buddies building 🤗🤗

Vote for OLA!!
OLA has been nominated for an award in the Catholic Education WA Quality Catholic Education (QCE) awards, in the Catholic Identity section for recognition of our dedication and devotion to Mary 💙💙💙
Highlighting the significance of our Mother Mary within OLA and the community, as well as developing a middle school leadership role and profile for our Year 4 students (our First Eucharist cohort), was the key driver in this initiative.
As a school dedicated to the Dominican tradition of honouring Mary, Year 4 students led Rosary prayer for our school in May, Feast Week and October, as a special time of dedication to Mary 📿
To vote for OLA, hit the link 👉🏻 awards.cewa.edu.au/nomination/mary/ and share with your family and friends.
Thank you to Mrs Scoble for making this all possible 🙏🏻 ... See MoreSee Less
