Service Overview
At Our Lady’s Assumption Outside School Hours Care, we are committed to providing educational programs that are child-led, interest-based, and thoughtfully designed to stimulate and enrich each child’s learning and development.
Our service offers a safe, healthy, and supportive environment that prioritizes children’s wellbeing and protection. We strive to create a warm and nurturing atmosphere where every child feels secure, valued, and empowered to explore their interests and develop their individual strengths.
Children at our Centre enjoy access to both indoor and outdoor learning environments that promote curiosity and engagement. Through open-ended experiences, we encourage children to question, discover, and develop independence as active participants in their own learning journey.
Our dedicated team of experienced and knowledgeable educators work collaboratively to create a consistent, secure, and high-quality care setting. We place strong emphasis on fostering respectful, trusting, and positive relationships. By supporting each child’s social and emotional development, our educators create shared learning experiences where children are encouraged to take initiative, embrace challenges, and grow through meaningful play.
Our Lady’s Assumption Outside School Hours Care works in close partnership with Our Lady’s Assumption School, aligning with its values, philosophies, and educational approach to ensure a cohesive and supportive experience for all children and families.
What Our Service Provides
Our Lady’s Assumption Outside School Hours Care Centre offers a range of flexible and supportive services to meet the needs of families, including Before School Care, After School Care, Vacation Care, and all-day care on Pupil Free Days.
Established in Term 3, 2019, our Centre continues to grow steadily as we support families through the evolving demands of work and daily life. We are committed to providing high-quality care in a nurturing and reliable environment that aligns with the needs of our school community.
Services Offered
Before School Care
Hours: 7:00am – 8:30am
Cost: $30.00 per child (before Child Care Subsidy)
After School Care
Hours: 3:05pm – 6:00pm
Cost: $43 per child (before child Care Subsidy)
Vacation Care/ Pupil Free Days
Hours: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Cost (before Child Care Subsidy):
In-House Program: $85.00
Incursion Day: $95.00
Bookings and Enrolment Information
Children are eligible to attend Our Lady’s Assumption Outside School Hours Care Centre from when they commence Kindergarten, the year they are turning four years old, provided they are enrolled at Our Lady’s Assumption School.
To enrol your child(ren), please contact us via email at oshc@ola.wa.edu.au or phone 0477 870 011. Upon acceptance of enrolment, the following documentation is required:
- A completed enrolment form for each child
- A completed direct debit authorisation form
- A copy of each child’s birth certificate
- An up-to-date immunisation record for each child (available through the MyGov website under the Medicare section)
- A completed Health Care Plan form, if your child has allergies or medical requirements
- A completed ‘About Me’ form
Once enrolment is confirmed, families will receive a parent handbook and a security access card to enter the OSHC Centre via the Chester Avenue gates.
Vacation Care Bookings and Enrolments
To access the Vacation Care Program, families must be enrolled in the Outside School Hours Care system. Once families are enrolled, they will receive a program towards the end of term.
